Thank You Everyone for A Great Holiday Trail!

The 2014 Charles County Holiday Trail has come and gone and despite the cold, rainy weather on Saturday and the wind on Sunday the Port Tobacco Historic Village welcomed over 250 visitors on December 6th and the 7th.  Thanks to the generosity of the SRPT board and volunteers, visitors of all ages were able to enjoy:

  • sweet and savory treats
  • crafts
  • traditional holiday songs courtesy of the Charles County Choral Society
  • tours of the Courthouse, Burch House and Stagg Hall
  • Sadie the Bereavement Dog and her owner Gail Manuel
  • unique exhibits on Port Tobacco’s rich past

Thank you to our Volunteers!

Of course, the continued successful participation of the SRPT in the Charles County Holiday Trail could not have been possible without the following volunteers.  Their efforts ensured a quality visitor experience for everyone.  Thank you!
